Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessment, and implement interventions for health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, residents, and families to plan and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. May serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe administration of care and resolution of service concerns. Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Rules, and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Requires an unencumbered RN license, preferred Bachelor's degree, and 12-hour day shifts with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
