Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate assessments, and implement treatments for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and diagnosis. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, families, and providers to plan and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. Serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring safe administration of resident care and resolution of service concerns. Maintain licensure in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Full-time day shifts with 36 weekly hours; eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
