Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessment, and implement interventions across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care plans. May serve as charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of resident care. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires an unencumbered RN license, a Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred, and availability for 12-hour day shifts totaling 36 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
