Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement interventions for health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, providers, and families to plan and evaluate care plans while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing practice. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel based on resident care needs and delegate competence. Maintain licensure in the state of practice and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Full-time role with 36 weekly hours across 12-hour day shifts, including weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
