Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement interventions across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, residents, and families to plan and evaluate care plans while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing expertise. May serve as charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel to ensure safe administration of resident care. Requires an unencumbered RN license, a Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred, and 12-hour day shifts totaling 36 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
