Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver education while managing preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment phases. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, providers, families, and residents to plan and evaluate care plans. May serve as charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their scope of competence. Maintain competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise as designated by the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others

Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
