Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement preventative health maintenance and treatment plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families to evaluate care outcomes and ensure safe administration of services. Serve as charge nurse when needed, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Maintain full scope of nursing expertise in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires unencumbered RN license and Bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time 36-hour day shift with 12-hour rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
