Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for residents using the nursing process. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide education, and manage preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment phases. Serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of care. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to resolve service concerns and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise. Requires an unencumbered RN license and preferred Bachelor's degree. Full-time weekend day shifts with a 12-hour schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
