Job Summary
The RN is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents, collaborating with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Duties include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care; potential roles as charge nurse; delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel; ensuring safe administration of resident care; and adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and the ANA Code of Ethics. Provides care across preventive, health maintenance, diagnostic, and treatment phases and supports resident education and care coordination within a not-for-profit, Christian environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment.
