Job Summary
Registered Nurse provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process and collaborates with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe, reliable administration of resident care. Practices within the Nurse Practice Act and affiliated standards; supports resident education and coordination of care across all phases of preventive, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor’s degree preferred) and an active RN license (multistate licensure per NLC may apply); may require ongoing competencies and certifications. A sign-on bonus of $20,000 is offered for this full-time night-shift RN position in De Smet, SD.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license where practice occurs; multistate licensure may apply in NLC states
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
