Job Summary
RN provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process, collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel; operates within the Nurse Practice Act and standards of nursing practice; supports resident education and care coordination across all phases of preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment; requires an unencumbered RN license and preferred Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA) preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs
- Multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
- Drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
