Job Summary
RN in a not-for-profit senior housing and services facility delivering nursing care across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Responsibilities include coordinating resident care, assessing residents, educating residents and families, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act, applicable state rules, and the ANA Code of Ethics. The role requires applying the full scope of nursing practice within designated standards; a relevant nursing degree and current RN licensure are prerequisites, with a preference for BSN and CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA accreditation awareness.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA accreditation bodies; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
- Drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment
