Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation). Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care across preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe, reliable resident care. Practice within the Nurse Practice Act and relevant standards; uphold the organization’s mission and the Code of Ethics for Nurses. Requires RN licensure (state or multi-state) and ongoing competencies; bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. This full-time role includes a night shift with a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the practicing state or multistate licensure (NLC)
- Obtains and maintains department-specific competencies and certifications
- Drug screen and pre-employment background screening may be required
