Job Summary
The RN provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) and collaborates with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, ensuring safe, reliable administration of resident care. Adheres to the Nurse Practice Act and professional standards; supports resident education and participates in care coordination across preventive, health-maintenance, diagnostic, and treatment activities. Requires an unencumbered RN license and a nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred) with ongoing competencies and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (preferred)
- Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications
