Job Summary
RN – Registered Nurse provides nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation); collaborates with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel; supports safe, reliable administration of resident care and adheres to Nurse Practice Act and state rules; required to work night shifts with 12-hour schedules and 36 hours weekly; position offers a sign-on bonus and is embedded in a rural Nebraska health system with emphasis on community-based, resident-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in the state where practicing
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- nursing program accreditation preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA)
- BSN preferred
- current unencumbered RN license or multi-state licensure
- competencies and certifications as required by department
