Job Summary
Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation). Collaborates with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care; coordinates resident care, education, and various nursing interventions. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel; adheres to the Nurse Practice Act and corresponding standards. Focuses on preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment for senior residents in a not-for-profit provider setting; emphasizes compassionate, high-quality care and ongoing staff development. Shift: 12-hour night shifts; full-time position.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in the state where practice occurs
- unencumbered RN license
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA)
