Job Summary
RN responsible for applying the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents in a not-for-profit senior housing setting, collaborating with families and an interdisciplinary team, coordinating care, performing assessments, education, and various nursing interventions; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff within scope, standards, and state rules; adheres to Nurse Practice Act and ethical guidelines to ensure safe, reliable resident care, including orientation to age-appropriate standards and population-specific care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
- multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
- obtains and maintains required competencies and certifications
- drug screen and pre-employment background check may be required
