Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) providing individualized nursing care to residents in a not-for-profit elder-care facility. Applies nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation), collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care, and supports residents across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe, reliable administration of resident care. Practices within the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure rules; adheres to ethical standards. Requires an RN license; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Offers a sign-on bonus and benefits; participates in incentive programs for rural health workforce. Schedule is flexible with a 32-hour workweek.
