Job Summary
RN responsible for applying the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents in a not-for-profit senior housing/healthcare setting. Performs assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation; collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed personnel; operates within state Nurse Practice Act and ethics standards; provides resident education and coordinates care across preventative, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment phases.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing and/or multistate licensure in an NLC state
- Maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
