Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation). Collaborates with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care; may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed personnel. Practices within nursing standards and the Nurse Practice Act; focuses on preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment; responsibilities include resident assessment, education, and coordination of care across care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN (unencumbered) in state practicing
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- Current RN license or multistate licensure per state requirements
- Nurse Practice Act compliance
- Ability to provide care to residents across care phases
- Flex scheduling capability
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- CCNE/ACEN/NLNCNEA accreditation desirable
- Unencumbered RN license with state board
- multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
- Nurse Practice Act compliance
- charge nurse experience (may be applicable)
- flex scheduling ability
