Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents, coordinating assessments, education, and treatment across all phases of health maintenance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to plan and evaluate care while demonstrating competency within the full scope of nursing practice. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of resident care. Adhere to state Nurse Practice Act standards and American Nurses Association ethics. Full-time evening shifts with a $15,000 sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
