Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement health maintenance and treatment plans for long-term care residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers and families to evaluate outcomes, while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to assistive personnel within the scope of practice. Manage preventative care and resident education in a 79-bed facility, adhering to state Nurse Practice Act standards and American Nurses Association ethics. Requires an unencumbered Minnesota RN license and Bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time day shift (4:00am–4:30pm) with bi-weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for rotating holidays
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
