Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, providers, families, and residents to coordinate care plans and educate patients. Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel while ensuring safe administration of care and resolving service concerns. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires a current unencumbered RN license in Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Day shift from 4:00am to 4:30pm with bi-weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for Every Third Weekend and Rotating Holidays
- Must be available for Additional weekend incentive of $1.25 an hour
- Must be available for Additional shift incentive of $1.25 for any hours worked from 6:00pm to 6:00am
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
