Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for residents using the nursing process. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and provide education while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and families. Manage all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment within the full scope of nursing expertise. Serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe administration of care. Maintain competency in age and population-specific standards for the assigned clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for Every Third Weekend and Rotating Holidays
- Must be available for Additional weekend incentive of $1.25 an hour
- Must be available for Additional shift incentive of $1.25 for any hours worked from 6:00pm to 6:00am
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
