Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, residents, and families to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. Coordinate resident assessments, education, and various nursing interventions while maintaining competency within the full scope of nursing practice. May serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to assistive personnel within appropriate skill levels. Ensure safe administration of resident care and resolution of service concerns in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards.
