Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement treatment plans for residents in a 79-bed long-term skilled care facility. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to plan, evaluate, and monitor health maintenance and preventative care outcomes. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe administration of care. Requires a current unencumbered Minnesota RN license and experience in age-specific standards. Full-time day shift coverage from 4:00am to 4:30pm with bi-weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for rotating holidays
- An accepted offer will require a drug screen
- An accepted offer will require a pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
