Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement health maintenance and treatment plans for long-term care residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to evaluate outcomes and educate residents on their care. Serve as charge nurse when delegated, assigning tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Maintain competency in age-specific standards and adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. Requires an unencumbered Minnesota RN license and Bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time day shift (4:00am–4:30pm) with bi-weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for Every Third Weekend and Rotating Holidays
- Must be available for additional weekend incentive shifts
- Must be available for additional shift incentive hours worked from 6:00pm to 6:00am
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass pre-employment background screening
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
