Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, providers, and families to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and deliver resident education while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. May serve as charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their scope of competence. Work full-time day shifts from 4:00am to 4:30pm with rotating weekend and holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed RN in Minnesota
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
