Job Summary
RN Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room (ER) at the University Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) within the HCA Healthcare network. Provides rapid triage, ongoing assessment, evidence-based interventions, and life-saving responses for adult and pediatric emergencies in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Administers medications and IV therapies, utilizes advanced monitoring and resuscitation equipment, and documents in the electronic medical record with clear communication to patients and families. Collaborates with emergency physicians and an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, with a focus on safety, infection prevention, and high-quality patient-centered care.
