Job Summary
Provide emergency department nursing care by implementing the nursing process, carrying out physician orders related to diet, medications, and treatments in accordance with Firelands standards of care; perform assessments, monitor and document nursing interventions, and report findings to physicians; educate patients, families, and staff about treatments and discharge plans; respond to emergencies, ensure availability of medications and supplies, maintain a clean and safe environment, and advocate for Firelands Health; must hold a current Ohio RN license with CPR, with 1+ year preferred, and obtain PALS, ACLS, Basic EKG, and TNCC within 6 months of hire; strong organizational, customer service, and computer skills required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a current Ohio RN license and CPR prior to patient care experience.
- Prefer at least 1 year of experience.
- Current PALS, ACLS, Basic EKG, and TNCC required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current.
- Excellent organizational, customer service skills, and computer proficiency are a must.
