Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Alabama Board of Nursing and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Work Monday through Friday from 0600 to 1400 with call required at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham.
Required Qualifications
- Monday - Friday 0600-1400 - call required
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required
