Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans, while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions as appropriate. Maintain BLS certification within 30 days of hire and hold current Alabama RN licensure. Work Monday through Friday from 0600 to 1400 with call required at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham.
Required Qualifications
- Monday - Friday 0600-1400 - call required
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required
