Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides nursing care under the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, collaborates with the care team, assesses and evaluates patients, develops and implements care plans with patients and families, communicates updates to the team, documents assessments and outcomes, and maintains patient safety. Duties include promoting evidence-based practice, professionalism, and contributing to quality initiatives within Mount Carmel’s Magnet-designated care model. Opportunities include participation in the Nurse Residency Program for new graduates and various education and development benefits. Relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from school of nursing
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
- For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required
- All new graduate nurses with less than one (1) year of clinical experience are subject to participate and will be automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program
