RN - Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Multiple Shifts

Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders as appropriate. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the team. Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurses with one year of critical care or emergency experience are required. Full-time day shifts (7a-7p) and PRN rotating shifts (7am-7pm and/or 7pm-7am) are available.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- PALS Provider obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
- minimum of one (1) year of critical care or emergency experience
