RN - Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Multiple Shifts

Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department by implementing and monitoring patient care plans while communicating patient conditions to the team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare organization. Maintain BLS, Advanced Life Support, and PALS certifications obtained within 30 and 180 days of hire, respectively. Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialing from the Alabama Board of Nursing is required prior to hire. Full-time day shifts run 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with PRN rotating options available. New grads are welcome to apply.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- PALS Provider obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
- one (1) year of critical care or emergency experience
