RN - Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Multiple Shifts

Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing, recording, and communicating patient conditions to the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. This role requires a Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse with at least one year of critical care or emergency experience. Full-time day shifts (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and PRN rotating shifts are available.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- PALS Provider obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
- one (1) year of critical care or emergency experience
