Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care and note physician and nursing orders. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Requires BLS, Advanced Life Support, and PALS certifications within specified timeframes, plus Alabama licensure and one year of critical care or emergency experience. Full-time day shifts or PRN rotating shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- PALS Provider obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
- one (1) year of critical care or emergency experience
