Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department while implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, assess and coordinate discharge planning needs, and carry out physician and nursing orders. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. This role requires BLS, Advanced Life Support, and PALS certifications within specific timeframes, along with Alabama licensure and one year of critical care or emergency experience. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- PALS Provider obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
- minimum of one (1) year of critical care or emergency experience
