Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department while implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Assess patients, coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team, and serve as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. This role requires a Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse with at least one year of critical care or emergency experience, BLS, Advanced Life Support, and PALS certifications. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- PALS Provider obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
- one (1) year of critical care or emergency experience
