Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department by implementing and monitoring patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders. Deliver comprehensive care aligned with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Full-time day shift (7a-7p) or PRN rotating shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- PALS Provider obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
- minimum of one (1) year of critical care or emergency experience
