Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department while implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, assess discharge planning needs, and carry out physician and nursing orders. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate. Full-time day shifts (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and PRN rotating shifts are available. Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- PALS Provider obtained within 6 months of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- professional licensure at time of hire
- minimum of one (1) year of critical care or emergency experience
