Job Summary
Deploy staff education within defined specialties, aligning with system initiatives and regulatory requirements. Optimize frontline performance through didactic training, elbow-side support, and just-in-time opportunities covering clinical performance and documentation. Collaborate with subject matter experts to facilitate alignment of specialty care with current evidence and standards. Deliver resources for specialty-specific needs, including coordination of training, coaching on designated units, and support for specialty onboarding processes. Represent the defined specialty on assigned hospital committees.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- Three years of recent experience as a clinical nurse
- Experience in education
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records software
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Facility Specific License/Certifications
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- E-Verify participation and understanding of Participation and Right to Work notices
