Job Summary
Conduct initial assessments of potential residents and implement service agreements upon move-in. Monitor and maintain medical records to ensure timely assessments, appropriate documentation, and current care plans. Ensure all physician orders are signed and implemented within 24 hours while maintaining the medication administration program. Supervise medication practices, medical equipment usage, and provide health and medication training to new and existing staff. Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local regulations including HIPAA, AWAIR, and OSHA policies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse within the state in which working and must maintain licensure
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
- Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations
