Job Summary
Conduct initial assessments for potential residents, implement and revise service agreements, and maintain accurate medical records with current care plans. Ensure all physician orders are signed and implemented within 24 hours while monitoring the medication administration program and medical equipment. Supervise medication practices and assist in providing health and medication training to new employees and staff to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations. Maintain professional relationships with residents, staff, and family members while upholding safety policies including HIPAA, AWAIR, and OSHA standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse within the state in which working and must maintain licensure
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
- Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations
