Job Summary
Part-time RN responsible for initial assessment of potential patients, maintaining medical records and care plans, ensuring physician orders are signed and implemented within 24 hours, supervising medication practices and equipment, providing health and medication training to staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with the therapy team to support patient health. The role includes duties such as IV insertion, medication administration, lab draws, code response, complex wound care, advanced respiratory care, restorative nursing, and supporting patients on short-term rehab/post-hospital care with an every-other-weekend rotation and afternoon/evening or overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse within the state in which working and must maintain licensure
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
- Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Patient's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations
