Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols in the 8-bed CVICU. Implement and monitor patient care plans, assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders while monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions. Work full-time nights on a 3-12-hour shift rotation from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
