Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the CVICU for post-operative CABG patients, implementing and monitoring care plans while recording and communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Monitor patients using advanced cardiac support devices and hemodynamic monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
