Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the CVICU in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing, recording, and communicating patient conditions. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. Full-time nights schedule includes three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
