Job Summary
Seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse for our CVICU to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of critically ill patients. This role involves instructing patients and families on treatment, maintaining patient records, and administering medications.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
- Current NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred
- Critical thinking skills
- Good interpersonal communication skills
Additional Requirements
- Active Florida RN license required within 60 days of hire if holding a compact license
