Job Summary
Provide patient and family-centered care on a 21-bed secured psychiatric unit for children ages 3 to 11, focusing on assessment, stabilization, and after-care treatment planning. Implement a trauma-informed, multi-disciplinary approach with a continued emphasis on restraint reduction. Deliver care for youth with acute behavioral health needs and neuro-developmental disorders within the new inpatient center. Maintain current Massachusetts RN licensure and American Heart Association BLS certification. Complete a job-specific physical test upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts RN license
- American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- BSN or ASN degree
- 1-2 years acute inpatient psychiatric experience
- successfully complete a job specific physical test
